n0name himself said sharp is obvious alt, reporting again because of this. i dont think the fact he had no backpack.tf ban at the time justifies his 10 hours + god tier unusual trade

I am the accused of this report. Chride2k8 |LZ| added me to talk regarding this matter.

I understand I have no rights to say whether my behaviour is right or wrong. Though to help the investigation I would like to provide a full detailed report that is truthful on what happened.

I was selling a Sunbeams Pyromancer's Mask. A trader with the name, "Sharp", added me and said he'd like to make an offer. He first offered me a Harvest Moon Triboniophorus Tyrannus and a Massed Flies Sammy Cap, which in total are ~35% more than what I was asking for which seemed a bit odd. So I checked him on backpack.tf, TF2Outpost and SteamRep. In backpack.tf, I noticed that he had a chunk of items nicely laid out and organised. He didn't only have unusuals, but if I recall, he also had a bunch of hats, miscs and weapons. He didn't have any negative reputations in backpack.tf either. As I checked SteamRep, nor there were any "caution"/"scammer" sign. Next, I checked his Outpost, which he had been making trades. So from these, I was pretty convinced he wasn't a scammer or an alt, especially looking at his backpack (at least from my previous experiences with scammer alts, there were pretty much only unusuals, keys and buds, which appeared as "new items", but not in this case). So I countered his offer and said I didn't like the offer much, which he allowed me to choose a reasonable offer from his backpack, which we eventually came to an agreement of: Orbiting Fire Blighted Beak, Haunted Ghosts Crocoleather Slouch, Sunbeams Detective Noir, Strange Specialised Killstreak Australium Medi Gun and 3 Keys (View image: Trade Screenshot). The trade went through.

About 17.5 hours later, Chride2k8 |LZ| added me saying that the trade I've done with "Sharp" was a scammer, and was tagged about 12 hours later, which sort of surprised me since from what I know, he didn't seem like one. I was directed to a link of your previous report, which you've said Sharp played TF2 for less than 10 hours. I usually have a habit in very quickly in checking people's steam account, unless they have a really high steam level. Personally, I don't recall that he had less than 10 hours of TF2, unless I've mistaken the number with other games, which could be a possibility.

I have no intent in trading with scammers, and I've rejected hundreds in the past. I apologise for my lack of experience in checking out for scammers/alts. With many months of unusual trading, I should've been well-informed on avoiding them. I feel like I’m not well-educated enough in checking for scammers. Sharp didn't look like a scammer to me in the first place, mainly because of the organisation of his backpack and SteamRep. I should be more educated on avoiding scammers/alts before I commit any further trades. I would close all my trades at this point of time for the safety of traders who I may trade with, before this issue is resolved. I take full responsibility in this matter. Once again, I sincerely apologise for my actions, and I have no intent in trading with scammers/alts.
