Implemented Remove SteamRep appeals from latest posts/threads

Nobody but the trade mods look at them and deal with them and they check the trading section actively anyway.
Us general forum people (I assume and pretty sure) don't really care about them, I for one find it frustrating that the 2/3 of Latest Posts/Threads section are appeals only now.
(If we can only make it so the server ban appeals are also non-visible, a trade mod can just tag the admin who issued the ban. Boom.)

 

Agreed, not sure why they're there in the first place. I assume the subforum is at fault for this.

 

Incorrect. I use the sidebar quite a lot for SR appeals. I still prefer the Top 10 stats box though.

 

Yeah it should be removed, its nice for me but thats about it. Nobody else really needs to see them.

 

I enjoy seeing them.

Also I think a big part of this forum now is just reports and ban appeals so I think it should stay.

 

Appeals are not for everyone, not meant for everyone, but other threads that might be interesting are, we can't check them out because they get overwhelmed with new appeals or replies in a short period of time. (the What's New? page is even better, it even has the reports.)
Appeals are for mods, just like the reports, and they check them anyway, no matter which way (sidebar or clicking). You can also check them in the latter way if you want, but the rest of us (like 80%) doesn't want/need to see them.

Personally I read through all the new content posted in that particular subforum, mostly through use of the links given in the new posts section. But yes, I agree appeals/reports aren't read/accessed by everyone. Perhaps would be better for the majority decision.
