I never had his login, he just sent me the offer out of the blue.

 

I know trading with scammers is wrong, and I shouldn't have accepted the offer, but now that I know that the hats may have been scammed, I would like to return them to their rightful owners, and the ones not scammed, to debra. If anyone can help me find where these hats came from I'd be grateful.

 

The accused (Pilobacon for future reference) and I have located both of the users who once owned the hats the accused now owns. It is pilobacon's plan to return the hats to both of the original owners who lost their items to a scam by the user whom the two hats share a common history with.

I've ascertained that Crate, the scammer who originally took both of the hats, traded them to debra, who then traded the items to a sweetstakes bot, then took them back from the sweetstakes bot, at which point they ended up in Pilobacon's possession.

Pilobacon has asserted that he would like an opportunity to return the hats to their rightful owners, and while this doesn't excuse the fact that he accepted them directly from a scammer in the first place, it at least allows the accused to take a moral high ground. Hopefully, once he returns them, he may be shown leniency.


Though we're not yet one hundred percent sure, we believe that these are the original owners of both hats: C heart bombing run, Disco beatdown voodoo juju

 

Looking over Crate's ban on steamrep, it appears that he was marked months after the two hats were "scammed". It's still unclear to me as to why these two users backpack's dropped to nothing in value after owning these hats, but perhaps they too were scammer alts.

 

He was marked on steamrep when I scammed him.

 

In that case, I don't know how Pilobacon would return the hats.

 

As the "alt" isn't marked and you guys seem to trying to fuck up people again. I'm gonna archive this report.
