What was your in-game name when you got banned?
    ,.
    When did it happen?
    May 2nd 2015
    What's the specified reason?
    Trading with marked scammer.
Why do you think you should be unbanned?
I will admit that I had 2 previous offenses for trading with marked scammers that got me banned from Outpost. The first trade just being sheer negligence and the second trade not knowing he was a scammer alt. However, for this third trade that got me caution tagged, I initially did not want to do this trade. I saw Zilla on the server and he asked to trade for one of my hats. I had just gotten this hat but he said it was his dream hat. After speaking aloud about my uneasiness about trading with him, admins on the Vatican City Unusual server added me and told me that he was perfectly safe to trade with. I was told that because he got phished and had an active appeal that he would be fine. As uneasy as I felt, I went through the trade. I had expressed my uneasiness but Hanbammer and Toru both told me that he was perfectly safe and that I would NOT get in trouble.

Long story short, I've learned my lesson. I will no longer take an admin's word on whether someone is safe to trade with or not. I consistently use rep.tf in conjunction with SteamRep. I also have a close friend help me scrutinize each trade. Since that last trade with Zilla, I have remained clean, made plenty of trades, and have genuinely done right by the community. This caution tag has been a hindrance in trading and I was told to appeal in about a month. Here is my appeal. Accept my sincere apologies about trading with Zilla. He is not okay to trade with. I know now how to properly research. I'm sorry and I won't let this happen again.

tl;dr I'm sorry, I check everyone out now quite thoroughly and I'd like to have my Caution tag downgraded.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me and add me on Steam.

    Thanks,

    Comma

    Appeal granted.

No further offenses, only one month caution.
Please do not take any further advices from Vatican admins, they seem to not know SR's rules properly.
If you really need another admins advice, ask one of the partner (those with green tags) admins, and even better, 2-3 of them (to get a better view on it).

    Locked.
