As there is currently an appeal going on by panda on bp.tf, we are waiting on that before we push out a verdict.

I will leave this thread open in case you guys find other offenses against him.

 

Hello. I'm the one handling the appeal on bp.tf. For reasons monkey has described above (I believe the hidden note is the information I shared with him), this appeal is going to take a while. An appeal in a well thought out, written format is probably not going to happen. Panda's school finishes in two days, and I think the appeal will be held over skype after that. I don't believe this user is an alt. He has made a number of mistakes trading with scammers. I will try to gather as much information as I can from him and let you guys know. But it will take some time.

Thanks for waiting on getting the additional information. I like to give users the benefit of the doubt, and I appreciate that you guys aren't banning first and asking questions later even though you have the proof of the IP match.

Probably not alts but they do business of some sort together, most likely shady.

 

Or knowing he is caught he is creating posts like this HOPING people like you will see it and report it. This giving himself an alibi as not being an alt. He will be found guilty of a crime, associating, and trading with scammers but not of the severe crime of being an alt of a paypal scammer.

TL;DR "If I'm getting in trouble lets make it the lesser of two crimes"

 

Also if he would be interested in making a quick $200 I'm sure he'd want to make a quick $10k and it makes me highly doubt his rich kid story is true.

 

This will be my last post here. If any FoG mod / admin wishes to discuss more details of this case with me, feel free to add me, though it would be best if you could give me a heads up before adding by telling Monkey or Tio first or by posting on one of my outpost trades (to make sure I don't accidentally ignore it).

This user has chosen not to appeal his ban with us. He has made his profile private and has indicated to us that he is quitting steam. Whether true or not, it's clear that he won't be appealing. As a result, I have posted a more detailed ban reason here - Bam bam bam choo choo's Profile - backpack.tf - to make it more clear what we believe to be true and what our stance is on people trading with this user. Since the user is not appealing and has no intention of providing logs of his trade history to confirm / refute reports of other trades with marked scammers, I am not really going to dig further into other trades with marked scammers. I have a fair amount of personal identifying information regarding this individual that I will not share publicly. These are the primary reasons for me not calling him an alt. If a community admin investigating this case requires this information, they are welcome to add me to discuss.
