Trading god tier unusuals with an obvious scammer alt.

He traded his bayonet | blue steel for the burning fancy fedora. The bayonet should be in the inventory of the main scammer account "lt limeade". I talked with him and he confirmed the trade and knowing the guy was a scammer, as in the screenshots below.

 

I reported him on outpost, since he is actively selling the fedora.

This may warrant a caution/full tag for knowingly trading with a marked scammer alt, it's up to the admins.

Just talked with an admin from outpost and appearently i'm in some trouble literally after a week i got back into TF2.
It seems i have become the bad guy from not knowing weather to trust or not to trust a certain person.
So, Story time!
I decided to get back into TF2 after a long break and decided to try to exchange my cs:go knives and skins for a couple of good unusuals.
I bought 2; a 13th hour tricorne and that went smoothly and the second one being the burning flames fedora. It smelled super fishy at first knowing that the fedora should be out of my price range and the sellers profile was super dodgy. But i had staggering 1 hour chat with him before we even made a deal. He seemed like a nice honest person who was genuinely moving on from tf2 onto cs:go, he even asked me how the economy in cs:go worked and at that point i was sold. We did the business and i even decided to to toss in the rest of my inventory along side with the knife. We said goodbyes and part our ways.
Now at this point comes in Sammy and starts going nuts at me for appearently dealing with a scammer, note the screenshot, i honestly couldn't have cared less since he was so friendly but obviously it had some effect here. Wich at the time i was aware that thing would blow up in my face.
TL : DR i trusted a guy that i traded with and now i'm getting banned from outpost.
PS: Sammy don't be sour and report people for not trading with you instead.

Yeah i wasn't aware that trading with alternate accounts gets you in trouble.
I bought the unusual via honest trading and i payed for it, i fail to see why i am being the one punished here.

 

Because it's against the rules...

 

Excuse me but where exactly can i read the official tf2 trading rules to prevent future fuck-ups?

Since you already got warned by OP, I'm going to archive this report. Make sure you don't trade with marked scammers or obvious alts. Take this as a warning. Gl.
