Description: I was never selling my Vintage Max head, then this guy suddenly adds me. I haven't traded on TF2 for about 7 months, so I had no idea about current prices, he obviously found my max head through Premium Search. At first he offers me 120 keys. Then he rises it to 150. Even though duped v.max is worth around 15~16 as I'm aware now. But after checking his outpost and his reputation that he's hunting for new players to scam / shark, I realize that something is wrong. Yet in the end, he admitted he's a scammer.

Notes:
Considered writing a FoG report instead of SR ( SR too slow )
Banned on Outpost.
Accused of sharking.

 

He also apparently has a private profile.

Meh, him banned on outpost, admitting that he's a scammer and trying to convince me to sell him my Max head was enough.

 

He is not a scammer he is just a shark.

When A Player “Trades” another un-knowledgeable player and offers something worth far less for something worth far more. It is also sharking if he knowingly lies about a price to make a profit.
Example: *Player 1 trades Player 2 (Noob)*
Player1: Hey, can I buy your Earbud? It’s worth a Scrap.
Player2: Yeah sure, since it’s only worth a Scrap.
*Trade Happens*

Hello @w0lk #idleness , and thank you for your report. Unfortunately, sharking attempts lie outside the scope of the SteamRep Investigation Policy, so I have to mark this report as Invalid.

Also, I understand your frustration over the reports at SteamRep being handled slowly, but you need to understand that SteamRep is a non-profit organization, run purely by volunteers; many staff members devote the majority of their lives to SteamRep, but none of them can devote their entire lives to it without a payment.
