Basically he was going to sell his pan to Eriksson, knew Eriksson was marked,was trying to get him to cover up everything. Trade was not gone through with but still he agreed to do it knowing all of the issues that may occur.

however, no transactions can be confirmed between the two and it's really not an offense to be friends with a scammer/hijacker and fix his computer as discussed in the chatlogs given by OP and eriksson

 

That is not why I'm reporting it. I'm reporting due to the fact he was going to trade Erickson knowing he was a scammers and trying to get him to buy buds then send to a clean alt to make it look like a legit trade. This shows he knows what we was about to do was wrong. He is a highly experienced trader and knows better. I feel like a perm caution if not a mark is due here.

 

I don't know if I agree. He never actually completed a trade. There's nothing markable about thinking about trading with scammers and not following through on it. He tried to find ways to trade with the scammer but then decided against it. It's a different case. I don't think a scammer tag is warranted. Even a permanent caution seems a bit much to me, but we should definitely keep him on radar for future offenses.

I spoke to the accused and he said he's willing to show anyone his entire trade history to prove he has never traded with erikkson or penek (or any alts of either)

 

What I gathered from the whole chat was that he would of gone through with the deal until he thought he was going to get scammed. Eitherway Its up to what NoName or Downie feel about this situation.

 

A trade never occured between a scammer, the report is about a guy who ALMOST decided to trade with a scammer.

If we banned people who almost traded with a scammer, we'd ban pretty much everyone.
