What was your in-game name when you got banned?
    Vetro
    When did it happen?
    Yesterday
    What's the specified reason?
    Multiple trading with marked scammers
Why do you think you should be unbanned?
    Hello!

Yesterday i was acused of trading with multiple scammers. I've actually never seen anybody get marked for this fraud, only for trading KNOWINGLY with marked scammers. Both scammers i've traded with we're (as i remember) high level on steam, had pay to play games and a good amount of hours in game, and not a private inventory/friends only.

First guy i traded with was named "quackeheimer", which i've been friends with for a long time. I traded a molten mallard nanobalaclava with him without knowing him being tagged as a scammer on steamrep. After that i noticed and i got a 2 week ban on outpost. As stupid i was i didnt check steamrep from here on and i ended up, sadly, trading with another scammer.

Second guy that i traded with sent me a trade offer, and added me. He would trade his unusual burning flames medic mountain cap for one of my 4 5 bud hats and i countered him with one i would trade. And he accepted. We traded. Previous owner named GIRL peasant, got banned aswell for selling him the hat both on outpost and a 2 week ban on backpack.tf for trading with scammers

I got permanent banned from outpost, and 2 days later, banned on backpack.tf after being steamrep banned. Today when i logged on cs go lounge i realized i was banned there aswell.

Also in the report it was said i had 100+ alts which is not true, This might have to do with me using and probably also creating my steam account in my school, where there's over 700 students.

Also i do know that i can't get unbanned from outpost since you only get one chance.

If i get untagged i would check the traders steamrep from now on before even trading as much as a single weapon with him/her

    Have a good day!

It's your responsibility to check who you trade with at all times.

I did actually not know that you could get steamrep marked for that. I only knew i could get an outpost ban for it. But as i really dont use outpost i didn't care at the time and didnt check. Also i saw that you recieved a negative rep on backpack.tf for buying scammed hats, so why aren't you banned yet? I find that very unfair that you can trade with a obvious scammer but not get marked, as i do just trading with two NON obvious scammers. Thanks :)

edit: Im not trying to get you banned, im just really confused.

I bought once from a scammer, and it was a Bubbling Strontium Stove Pipe. I served 2 week bans on bp.tf and tf2op and haven't traded with any since. You have been banned on tf2op for it before, you should have learned.

That is true. I should have learned from that ban but i had no chance to learn. I did the trades before the first time and i got perma banned without getting a chance. After that i traded with the TTT selling unusuals buy for the burning flames medic's mountain cap because i didn't care. I still didnt know i would get permaban for that. On steamrep that is.

Firstly, where is the proof of your 100 alts? Were you under a proxy connecting from different devices, or using different computers such as a school laptop, home desktop, etcetera? If the admin does have proof of the alts would he mind posting the link to each of their profiles in a reply to this comment.

Here is the proof of the TTT Selling unusuals guy sending me a trade offer Gyazo - 1118fdf05183db2281f133e70f19c68b.png which i then countered and we countered eachother until we found the right and we traded manually. Also the quackeneheimer dude is trading his items from his main to his alt all the time i found out so it might seem like an obvious alt but it isn't. He switches his items all the time. Since he didnt have any items i asked if he got scammed but he told me he moved his items to his other account

And as victim said it might have to do with me being in a school with over 700 students. Tomorrow when school starts i can posts screenshots of the computer or anything you'd like to know about it. Theres no way i could have over 100 alts since it would cost me atleast 5 dollars to get an account able to trade. Which would run up to 200 keys or 500 dollars which is complete nuts. The school pc's are all connected to the same internet and same ip aswell as i know. I dont know much about computers but i do know their all connected. And i know atleast 5-6 of my classmates has logged into steam via their school laptops

Seeing as there are 100 alts, we won't be linking any of them. Also the methods we use to find alts are private, and that information is not normally shared with the public. We use methods to find if there are IP clashes between accounts. Also, I don't see where you come into this discussion.
Anyways, Vetro traded with scammers, and also received their first warning from OP, you traded with another.

Thank you very much for responding! Also i did NOT get a warning from outpost. I traded with the 2 scammers before actually getting my first ban. I got immediately banned right after the unban the first time. But ill let n0name decide :)

And no i do NOT have 100 alts.. those must have been from my school.

Yeah, the 200 keys or 500$ is an exorbitant amount to put into a very elaborate scamming scheme if I may say so myself haha. But I'm pretty sure each time a different Steam account connects via the same wifi it shows that multiple accounts were connecting and seeing that most Steam accounts are home operated it's odd to have more than one connected on the same wifi. I'm also still waiting on those accounts so I can run backround checks on them to see if they owned/own any unusuals currently or in the past. As well as checking if Vetro has owned the same hat as one or multiple of the alts because then that would be definite proof of the alts.

Well I'd been browsing my friends list and saw that Vetro had been marked and I was curious so I went to the SteamRep report and asked him what happened and to send me his appeal. I've been doing research on it and honestly, he was banned with somewhat of a reason behind it yet didn't receive the correct amount of warnings to justify this ban.

    Appeal conditionally granted.

Take this as your very last warning, next time will be a permanent ban.
Also, we will not disclose those alts unless they are confirmed.

    Locked.
