Rejected The problem with custom lrs

I have noticed that when you choose an lr that requires someone to do something that they dont want to do, they leave the server and pretend that they were not leaving because of the lr. this happens so regularly that people have started to stop choosing custom lr because they know that it will most likely be denied. maybe it should become a rule that blues and reds must fulfill custom lrs or something.

Just today i was playing jailbreak and i chose custom lr and this is what happened:
(EvilS) Swuft : smarties must be warden and he cant pull any tricks to get out of the lr and he has to act and talk sexy for the whole of next
(EvilS) Swuft : round and i have freeday
Player ϢǟƦɭȏȐDž Smarties left the game (Disconnect by user.)

Is this allowed?

It's perfectly fine to deny an LR; depending on the circumstances, of course. Yours tend to be innapropriate in nature, and so people do not want to have to say things like that.

Apparently I am not allowed to change server when a round ends.
I didn't even see this lr...

 

I'd deny these kinds of lrs too. Looks like something typed by a 5 y/o.

 

I personally don't mind custom lr's, even if they are embarassing.

Player specific lr's should have the possibility to be denied, if you ask me.
You can't force someone to say or act a certain way or join a team.
What if someone has to go somewhere next round?

Maybe some specifications on custom lr's in the rules will help.

 

i was in a rush because the warden said if i didnt type it quickly he would shoot me and i didnt want him to deny the lr so i had to add an extra bit which meant that i had to split the lr in two

 

I would say that if Custom LRs are not appropriate, they may be denied by the party, or if they are aiming directly at a player.

 

i personally hate it when people request me to say things that could get me into trouble IRL
I.E. "after every command say 'because i suck Dick' " or something of that variant, i personally think the custom lr should have limits

 

But what if the lr is like something silly but not offensive like after every order say "i eat flowers for dinner"

 

Obviously that's not as bad Swuft, but I can agree that when you're given a last request that is "absurd" you have a right to deny it.

After all, it is a last request. Not a last demand.

You just need some common sense, think "Would I do it if I was asked to?"

 

I would do any last request that someone has asked me to do because i know that when i join i must be prepared to follow the warden or the servers rules

 

But you would break other rules? This seems like a big attempt to make me seem in the wrong.
It states the lr must be reasonable and so if the lr does not seem reasonable by the person it is directed to, it can be denied.

 

Yeah i agree i had one of thoes where it said "Ruby go warden and say 'I'm a P$&%' After every order. it was realy awkward and i really didnt want to do it, I do think something does need to be done to enable a new lr to be picked or something so you dont have to deny lr!

 

Its a thread which is open to discussion, maybe it is a notification that something about lrs needs to be changed in the rules perhaps

 

Which is why you don't need to worry; I think you did perfectly right in leaving even if it wasn't "in that regard".

Yes. That is a very reasonable lr.

 

what about that everyone must pray to princess heavy? was that a reasonable lr?
