What's the specified reason?

Ban list says constant spawncamping, which i didnt do.
I got banned without a warning, and i didnt get close to the enemy spawn.
Plus i played as engineer without ever building a sentry (or anything else), so i dont know how i could be able to spawncamp even if i wanted to. ​

Why do you think you should be unbanned?

I got banned for an (in my opinion) unjustified reason.

We don't handle temporary bans (it's a 1 day ban, as it's stated in the ban rules). Anyway, I banned because you were constantly in front of the spawn shooting in order to get kills = spawncamping.
Nothing more to say.

 

It was one day, so this ban appeal is invalid and will most likely be automagically rejected.

 

I dont know what you see as spawncamping, so here´s an example:

First of all, it´s not spawncamping when you are close to the enemy´s spawn.
Spawncamping is when you kill enemies directly after coming out of their spawn, meaning that a sniper headshooting guys from the other side of the map is also spawncamping, even though not being close to their spawn...
Also, spawncamping is only discredited when the enemy has little to no chance to react (see link/ other example: demoman laying stickies in front of spawn), meaning that the enemy can´t fight back, thus being unfair.

So how can an engi staying right in front of a huge spawnexit with nothing more than a widowmaker be spawncamping?
He´d get killed in mere seconds...
So even if i had been close to the enemy spawn, i would have died constantly.
This also disproves your claim of me staying there for kills, because i wouldnt have gotten any...

That´s why i was suprised after seeing the reason for the ban, and that´s why i made this post, to protest against such unfair treatment, not because of the ban duration.
