Rejected Konsta admin abuse

Yeah this is expanding fast as big bang But there is a lot of sence going on here because the boht sides are the victims and criminals I guess.

 

Spawncamping is a thing, it won't go away no matter how many people are banned. Konsta's rage is not a reason to unload it to others - admins' mood shouldn't make a difference. And a bit of harmless joking doesn't hurt anyone.

 

Im just going to stay out of this one from now on.

 

Well first of all - we'll ban everyone if we have to, there is more than enough players that will replace ignorant idiots and second of all, if we get offended, we have every right to punish people for it. Sure seems harmless when you are the one doing it, doesn't it ?

 

Totally a legit ban. You guys should consider yourself lucky that konsta was so merciful.


Yet again, I am amused how people think we can't look up their chat histories.

 

I doubt about that banning, you wouldn't ban everyone and the rules could be more flexible. After all that is what makes a friendly community. Not the rules, not the admins, the players who play there. THEY/B] are the heart of a community.

Judging by spawncamping - insulting and kinda insulting our community, the ban could've been from 1 week - 1 month.

That is an insult, you are insulting the owner of the community by calling him stupid. IT IS AN INSULT. FACT.
ALSO WARNINGS ARE GIVEN:

I could go on with these moralities. But I don't like to speak to my Kinsmen who are most likely referred as Jonnes. Get some more ES and be quiet. Spawncamper.

Right, so according to you we should just let everyone abuse, because that's what makes the community good. Right, okay. Please show me a community where that kind of approach works without the whole community falling apart day later.

Admins are also the players, don't forget that one little detail. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a mass ban of people sharing the same logic as you. Definitely wouldn't do any harm to popularity of the servers

Don't know the situation or the mood on the server, so rule wise it's allowed.

 

Of course I understand that bans are important for the servers. And there will be more of those "ignorant idiots". Always. And I understand that if someone feels seriously offended they can and should punish the one who's behind the insulting. But I don't understand how a sentence like "Who was so stupid that let you become an admin?" - clearly a not-so-offensive-and-more-like-jokeful comment - can insult such Konsta badly. And I wasn't the one doing it FYI.

 

Excuse me? You are insulting us here wright now and I would say the same for you if I was like you. You are one strange person calling people energy drinkers and other weirdows. I guess you have a low temper too. because thats what we in Finland call a nerd rage.

suddenly scared? We cant help it if it was insulting to him. But yet again. When you bring it here, it is insulting to us all, because we are the ones who vote for other admins.

 

I witnessed this situation, and think Konsta was following the rules, but gave out a little too harsh punishments. First of all, the spawncamping. I understand that it's not allowed, but an instant kick might be a little too much. Second, the rules say that you have to respect the admins, but an hour long ban for a harmless joke? I, myself, usually just ignore the people who insult me. That is the most effective cure against them.
And now that we're speaking about sniping at the spawn, might as well ask this: Is it really not allowed to shoot i.e. enemy snipers that are in front of the spawn? Because that would make them basically invincible. They can shoot you but you can't shoot them. This rule really doesn't fit the Mario Kart map because it's so open and the only case you're not aiming at the enemy spawn is when you're right next to your spawn. Also an admin, I think it was Jarza, told me back when he was an admin, that sniping at the spawn is allowed.

What the hell is funny about telling someone that they are doing bad job ?
This wouldn't be funny even from a friend, there was NOTHING funny about that statement, it was plain rude and disrespectful. That's all it was.
And I don't care that you weren't the one doing it, I was making a point.

 

I agree with Kahis21. How can "not-so-offensive-and-more-like-jokeful comment" insult someone like Konsta. Good admins with sense of humor would have just laughed. :/
