    Update!

Well it has been a while since I posted an update..... So here comes a load of photo's of what I have done the last month!!

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Offcourse some last electric pipes has to be done so it is all connected now. After that the real work started.. cleaning!! It was a big pile of dirt.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

After everything was cleaned I finally could start at my glass brick wall. At first the lower layers which had to dry a few days before the top layers could be placed on top. For the last layer I had to break some extra wall away to fit but in the end it fits like a charm.

    [IMG] [IMG]

Last saturday the plasterer started to re-plaster everything I broke, I could do it myself but I didn't want to anymore. It will cost some extra money but the result is magnificent.

And here is the final result of today. The complete livingroom is plastered as well as the bedroom. He has to come back for the hallway tomorrow. The only problem I got now is, that I have to repaint the ceiling because it's now more yellow than the walls >.<

Looks pretty sweet! Im an electrician in England so admire seeing pictures from other countries! Wish our electrics could be done like yours! haha Nice tidy job with the conduit though - that stuff is a pain to install in walls. & those walls look pretty hard!

Well the right tools make it pretty :p These are indeed pretty hard walls (concrete) so it took some time to get them in there but the result is nice :)

Since it has been a while since I posted my last update I thought it was time to share some new photo's!!

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Since the walls were done, it was time for the flooring!! At first some of the under floor to make it nice and qiuet for my neighbours below me. And on top of that some of the laminate. (Since the laminate is a bit boring I won't show all the photo's).

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

After a hard day of work the livingroom had a nice flooring and it was time to put in the (temporary) furniture. Finally have a couch to sit on!! :D I even got some spare time to put the television on the wall. Almost feels like home!

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

And to gain some privacy I also put up the curtains. Not much to say about it.

And here the final photo's of the curtains. The first two are from the front of my livingroom and the last one from the back.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Since I allready had a dining table it was time to sand it down and give it a new color. Since it didn't matched the color of my new furniture. And it was hevily damaged so I needed to sand it to make it nice again.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Off course I bought a big bed for in my bedroom. It sleeps qiuet nice!! And on the seccond photo a lonley table in the back of my living room. But guess what?! Time to pick up my couch and throw out the temporary one!!

So here is my big couch... seems I need to have big furniture! And my dining table got some company from a nice dresser. And offcourse on the last photo, we need an TV on the bed room so that has been done too!!

    [IMG] [IMG]

Last week I have been busy with my network. I am finally liberated from cables on the floor!! And now it all has been fitted in a nice 19" rack. And I have broken the tiles away in my kitchen so I can put some laminate there too (want to finish that before my birthday).

    [IMG] [IMG]

And finaly an overview of my livingroom how it is right now. The only thing I need for my livingroom now is some additional decoration and the last electrics which are on the plinth.

Believe it or not, I still have loads of work to go. I still have 1 room unfinished and have to build an extra worktop in my kitchen and the electrics of these two rooms. And some small other tasks that need to be done. But I can finaly live a normal life in my house, so I am allready pretty statisfied.
I will keep you guys updated!!
