Declined Suggestion: Pony VSH/FF2 Server.

Hey guys. Don't hate this before you have actually read this post. Even tho you read the word "Pony"

Some of you might remember i once had a Pony VSH/FF2 Server with one of the old members of FoG.
Where the bosses had In-game Pony Models.
It went quite popular quick among bronies. and people who don't hated bronies/Ponies.
It might be a good way to attract more people to our community, and to show that we are indeed, a friendly community who also accept people who are BRONIES.
Because our goal is to increase our reputation. And accepting bronies without any starting up any fights, will be a good way.

So i suggest that we should try make such server with such models on it. Here on FoG.. The worse that can happen is, it wont be popular and we have to shut it down.. Which i doubt will happen, as there might be many bronies in our Steam group, and posting an announcement with a brand new FoG Pony server. Will most likely attract them to play on FoG, and they might invite their friends too!.

So what are you guys saying? Should we give it a try?



Also, If you're just going to flame/hate on this suggestion. I prefer you not to, and just leave this thread in a silent way.

N0;name came with a good idea i should have included in the text too.
We will most likely make a section on the forum, for the bronies. So they can be in there, talk about brony stuff there. To keep conflicts away.

2ND EDIT
After more talk with N0;name. We got to an idea that includes.
Making the server under another name, as a partnership with FoG
Making another forum for that server specific only.
And make ONE button on main forum, that will take you there. If there are any curious people on here, who wanna give it a try.

Even if you hate them, you can still play on such server to kill them. You should just keep your mouth shut with anything hate related about them.

As long as no problems arise, I'd say it's fine.

And you guys call yourself friendly players? It more seems like you arrived from Skial in my eyes. You dont want more players to join FoG to make it bigger perhaps?

I just don't like having 'brohoofs' shoved down my poophole and throat.

 

And no, I'm not from Skial. My first TF2 group was old FoG.

 

Then don't look at them. Beside, how often to you even see it on the forum? Rarely. and making a place to attract them to keep them away from you guys is a bad idea? You sure its still a bad idea? Maybe you should think over it once more.
And you should give it a try. Might be you started liked playing on such server. who knows, DOWNY?

So you're saying we use the forum, the website we visit a lot, as something to attract bronies to keep them away from us? The fact that we barely see brony stuff on the forum is because there are barely any bronies. You keep yourself under control and so do the other guys, but you know that most people visiting those servers won't? This is going to be hell and it's going to rip apart FoG with the shitstorms it's going to create even more than it already is.

 

i say, they will go onto the server. and do it there. and it wont take any longer than 30seconds to make a rule that forbids such things on the forum.

But if we are a friendly community, we should act like one. Which some of you sure have some problems with it seems.

Like it or not. Getting more players to the community is not a bad thing. And will never be, no matter what. You can think what you want. But being a box-minded person is not healthy either.

Now go give it a try for once, Nobody forced you to talk with bronies anyways. Or be around them.

 

Did you see this, or no? An extra 500 bronies ontop of the already consistent inflow is not gonna be a huge deal.

That's the exact problem. They are going to shove it down our collective throats and anuses. I've seen other forums with such pony sections. It's regular people hell. No more, no less. We can be very friendly people (most of us) but there's a line. You want to get new people to the community, yet you want to have a rule to prevent bronies from doing the thing they want to do the most. They won't stay.

 

Not my fault you are box-minded downy. You don't like it, not my problem. And you wont even give it a try? shame. no sad, downy, it is sad.
And there can be rules. And even tho they wont follow the rules all the time... well look at yourself. you aint following the rules 100% yourself.
