In my opinion people that fake Cheats are fairly annoying and attention seeking. Actions like these can also lead to false bans.

There are people that acually try to fake stuff like namechangers. There are also people creating controversy by playing on a 2. account putting out headshots and saying they can skript well or even straight up say they cheat. So they are intentionally trying to make everyone think they are cheating while they aren't.

To avoid misinterpretations like that from Admins and other players alike in the future, I suggest that intentionally faking cheats should also be a banable offence. Maybe it should not be punished as hard as acual Cheating but at least a bit.

Please leave your own thoughts about this topic below.

Edited this. Please don't mind my first Version of this Suggestion.

They would also be talking about it in game chat and/or mic about how they are using a hack or for the name changer case, well, their name keeps changng. It is at this point that this ban may come if the player is found to not be cheating. (That's how I see it anyway.)

Can already be banned for either promoting/advertising hacks or the good old:
All bans are at the discretion of the administrators, whether they do or do not conform to the rules listed.

Problem is if they appeal it they get through with it most of the time. Since it was just a "joke". With the new rule people would at least get punished for thier actions.

If they admit to using cheats while ingame for example and then get banned for it but appeal it on the forums as it was "just a joke" they could be punished for it anyways.
And yes your appeal did inspire me to make this suggestion, but whatever happens with it shouldn't affect the outcome of your appeal specificly since when you got banned it wasn't against the rules yet.

Don't really see the benefit of having such a rule, only increases the administration burden and possibly leads to quite a bunch of wrong bans.
