Okok, another version is on it's way, fixing the sc at stage 4, added a new secret, and added a bonus. What does this mean? You'll have to go in and delete the old surf_skyborn.bsp file, or you won't be able to join. It can be found in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps Reason? you can't overwrite files with the same name when joining a server.
I wanted it to be surf_skyborn for the final version. Just a small & easy to remember kind of name. Also only 4 people have tested & downloaded that map version (i think), and it would be more difficult to make a lot of people go in and delete the old file, but we are lucky it's only the test server. Not a big fan of names with something after it. Ex: de_dust2, de_inferno etz. seems much more professional, than de_interno_pleb.
Alright, the final version was now completed and sent to n0:name. It took me frickin 3 hours to compile, but i made it. Here are a few updates (along with some missing ones from past updates) Spoiler Added a third pillar at stage 1, and moved the platform a little bit further back. Also added some details in between the pillars. Another view. Also, requested by some of you, the glass now has a frame around it, adding a little to the details. Added arrows indicating where to go, to make it easier to figure out. Added a rotating box at stage 3. Because it's cool. Also it can stop you if you hit it. Added some details in the box at stage 4. Also moved the smaller middle ramp, to give a more accurate surf to the next ramp, when on the move. Added a bhop bonus stage. Not really much to say, it's easy, and it takes speed to be able to complete it. Other stuff: * Map has been fully HDR compiled, meaning lights has been changed a lot. Now the sun gives a more natural feeling, and not giving the ramps a crazy glow. * I have optimized it. Unseen textures has be removed. This will help the map run more smoothly for less badass computers. * I added a new secret and removed the old one. * Fixed a shortcut on stage 4. - File size has increased a little. New & final update has been added. - Sorry, i removed the bonus, it's almost impossible to finish, the distance between the platforms are way too far.
Reviving this, as I'm making a few fixes to the map. Now is the time to let me know what you want changed. Here's a list with what I've done so far: Map optimization Texture adjustments Fixed sun brightness Updated glass texture on bonus Added teleport from secret room to bonus Fixed missing rotation on bonus spawn tele rings Removed rotating box on stage 3 Changed arrow textures I'm not going to change or replace anything on the actual run itself, meaning all zones/times/runs can be ported over without a problem. Lastly, I'm adding credits in the map for the people who helps out on the map, and for every support on my patreon. These names will be placed in the secret room.
