Implemented New trade plaza map

You Can vote what you want but this map its by far not another Orange, btw the outside place its pretty modified, and if you have better ideas feel free to drop it here not only analyzing the mine, as i said this not an Orange map by far

 

I'm going straight forward on this then, I don't think anyone here wants maps mixed with eachothers, definitely not a trade server and especially not mixed with an Orange map.
Also, I don't mind the maps really, as long as it is populated, so I wont participate at all with suggestions, as I firstly don't have time, secondly I'm also quite uncreative and I have a lack of discipline as well.
Edit: with saying that I wont participate, also means that I wont vote either.

 

only like the 15% of the map its an Orange, the rest its new, as i see you have time to complain but not to help, so just vote no and we are over, by the way i totally disagree with what you say, there are a lot of maps much better than trade plaza 2, not cuz its bad , if not cuz its very OLD, you allready gave your opinion, stop making absurds points of it, if you have something better then post it, is much easy do what you're doing.

 

I haven't really mentioned anything that your suggested map is bad. I'm just giving the map some criticism.

 

That map is way too big and will most likely just be confusing for new players.

If I had to choose one of the maps I would most likely just want the current one since that one is just a clusterfuck.

 

But the point its, why the fuck no one its suggesting some?

It's a good looking variant, with a lot of cool rooms and stuff and we could rename it with the name as the old one to lure players if it's needed.

EDIT: My bad, it's apparently only for Gmod...

 

Too bad its restricted to Garry's Mod only, it would've been pretty neat, definitely the best map suggestion I've seen so far, regarding this very subject.

Looks more interesting than the rest.

 

I think the epic map itemtest would be the best option for a trade server map

 

I lean towards "hopi" here. Has some neat features, and the "max" one looks far too similar to the current one that is already in use.
So I vote for the hopi one.

 

As Maestro said, Trade Plaza Max is pretty much the same as the current one, even worse: it doesn't have the "race" area and the dark room, which are the only "good" things about the current map; has pipes over the spawn door on which people can easily hide and kill people coming out (aka spawncamp); spawn areas have windows through which people can spam. It shouldn't really be an option, since it's basically a downgrade from Plaza 2. Hopi looks pretty good, has much neat stuff in it that new players might enjoy. Definetely hopi for me

 

I've been observing some plaza maps with @cetru actually and I agree that hopi is one of the better options.

We also found a map called trade_plaza_4_xy(<-link), which we both liked. It's got more cover than the current map so snipers wouldn't such a huge problem. There are also 2 extra areas to the map which look nice. There are some problems, though. A minor one would be that the racing area forces the bumpercart on you, which could possibly cause a problem with the !car plugin. Then there's of course the problem with engineers building teleporters and sentries. Engineers can build teleporters inside the spawn (but that is possible on almost every plaza map) but they can also build f.ex. on top of the houses at the pool which is quite bad. Spies can jump onto those buildings, but not on the battlefield ones which you can also build on. @n0name Could it be possible to use the same plugin that you use on achi (the one that prevents building anything in the idlers) on these areas?

 

I'd vote for .ax's suggestion, the second best one would be trade_hopi_plaza_v2.
