Implemented Orange Map Suggestions

    Hello everyone. This is some map suggestions I have for orange, due to the fact that we need to seriously bring back activity and also draw new players. We've tested some of these maps, and others we'll need to be tested so that we can see if it's like by others or not.

    This will be an easier way to read my reading and the meaning of colors:
    FANTASTIC - Add the map: Simple as that
    Good- We will run more tests to conclude it's worthy of installing.
    Neutral- We need more opinions and testing.
    Non_Tested- No one has had the ability to test the map for glitches,lag spikes, etc.
    Bad- Test/Map was bad or we considered it unworthy for FoG



    -cp_orange_final: http://gamebanana.com/maps/130491 . This was a map that I've tested along with some other regulars. It was really liked and can be easily implemented. This is actually a great Halloween and holiday map. FANTASTIC




    -cp_orange_shortcut: http://gamebanana.com/maps/161473 . This map was okay, but it took a long time for us to connect.
    Bad.




    -cp_orange_I: http://gamebanana.com/maps/179223 . This map has been determined to be too confusing to navigate around, and looking at servers in the past that have tried the map, we decided to not want to continue suggesting this.

    -ktf_orange_x3: http://gamebanana.com/maps/70204 . This map runs well. I figured it wouldn't run well because of the testing, but it actually turned out great. Minor bugs and glitches, but it's nothing out of the ordinary.

    y Range X3: http://gamebanana.com/maps/193335 . After testing this map with a buddy of mine, we came to the conclusion that this map is a great run-on for Christmas. It does have a boxing area and such, so we will be running more tests to make sure all areas of the map run well, and no obvious glitches are noticed. Good




    -cp_orange_rush: http://gamebanana.com/maps/174765 . I've tested this map with a orange fellow about a year ago. Went through another test during the first of March (2017) and we noticed the map was extraordinarily large in comparison to other orange maps. It's something I want other opinions on and would like to know if we should add it.

    -cp_orange_transport_alpha1 http://gamebanana.com/maps/182980 . I seriously liked this map. Yeah, it takes a little longer to capture the points, but definitely a crazy spinoff of orange for those who like it. Train is a bit glitchy, but still runs awesomely.
    FANTASTIC




    -cp_orange_natural http://gamebanana.com/maps/193885 Very recent map. I can't say much about it, but It looks nice and seems to blend well. Will definitely test it soon.

    -orange_ christmas 2009 http://gamebanana.com/maps/120296 From testing it throughout the years, the map would be a great run for Christmas. I will need to run an additional map test to make sure this will still be running well.
    FANTASTIC




    -orange_warzone http://gamebanana.com/maps/155073 This map was actually a disappointment. Tried it out with a couple of others, and we were so lost as to how to get around, and we were also noticing major glitches with the map.

    -CP_Orange_X7 http://gamebanana.com/maps/165405 This map is on another server that Kw actually moderates. As I played the map with him, I liked the easy ability to navigate the map. May still be a little tricky going underneath the tunnels, but still a good map to add. FANTASTIC




    -cp_orange_asylum http://gamebanana.com/maps/79487 This map will be needing some testing in the near future. It looks a bit hard to navigate around, and the comments for it don't seem to helpful, so we'll see.
    Non-Tested




    -cp_orange_vertical http://gamebanana.com/maps/154715 Another un-tested map that looks promising and can easily be added to our installation list. Will ask the map provider for permission first.

    This list will be updated weekly as more testing and opinions are done.

    The first one cp_orange_final and the ctf one looks good.
    Most people really don't care to cap points but flag might be more entertaining.

    Definitely would bring more people to play, especially if they're were cool perks in the server like health packs and such. I'll try to test ktf tonight.

    I actually like Orange the way it is. The only 2 things I would love to see a change to are closed off Spawns for the enemy and doors into the Spawn for Teammembers.
    If something like that exists I would be pretty happy if we could implement it.

    I absolutely agree. However, there is a way to do that, but it takes time. It just would be better to download a map with the plugins for that Spawn already installed.

    Also, I've updated the testing for ktf_orange_x3. Also have changed certain opinions on the other maps and did more testing for others.

    I agree with others, healthpacks/ammopacks could be a thing to have implemented, and doors into spawn. Instead of trying to parkour from the stairs into spawn. Which many can't do on the first try.

    I also like the first map, is it's skybox higher?

    Not really keen on having multiple maps on the server, would rather decide for one (currently orange_final).
    Map changes usually cause about 30-60% population drop.
