Declined DJ Ranks. !radio

    So I came up with this idea of creating a new rank for playing music. This means that if a player has this rank he can play music, and has premission mute other people if they are chat spamming. A problem may occour if there is no DJ's on the server. I called it rank DJ but it could be music, radio.. etc. This might mean that we would need Hive radio..
    This is just something that came to my mind and it probobly wont happen, sorry if this post was wasting your time, im still figuring out how things go here.

    Well since i was on the server as this idea was developed I'll say something about it.
    1. We got Hive radio.
    Thats gonna be the number 1 "no" reason on here. BUT: Hive has rather bad music. Have is not interactive. (Song suggestions, etc.) And Hive is spammy aswell.
    So I'd say remove hive, or maybe keep it, but dont force it upon people.
    2. Make people apply for DJ.
    This is mainly because of the "mute" function they should have. So they are actually trustable people.
    2,5. Make them DJ via suggestion over other admins.
    Basically I meet a guy who is nice and respects others, doesnt use cancer music, etc. And I can suggest to give him the DJ rank.
    3. I personally am all in in the idea. If we have actual personal DJs that play good and interactive music it would feel far more.. neat :}

    To add: Hive also offers ingame commands, such as !request, !shoutout, !choon, !poon, which are also advertised in chat.
    For a DJ rank to work, we would need an extra plugin (with extra permissions) to allow the mute function to work, plus modify the Timer plugin for a extra rank.
    Or add a new admin rank, but you can't really restrict one admin command to a group only.

    This would also require admin presence, to mute people who are playing music and are not "DJs".

    I am going to decline this for now, see my previous post.
    Honestly doubting that many would apply for such a rank here.

    For now, I would suggest that admins make a "virtual" DJ rank, by allowing only certain people to play music (via mutes, like it already works).
