    Over the top, honestly. That's like saying playing Mario games promotes animal cruelty because you flatten mushroom like beasts and turtles.

    They are right when they say it isolates our children and giving a bad experience, when I played it I thought it was a nice creative game.
    2 years later I recognize it was a horrible game with a horrible community. Banning it though for deeming it "violent" makes no sense, how would it affect a child in any way? A child NEEDS common sense and who is supposed to teach them that? That's right! The parents are supposed to do that, this is just a lazy way to make some cheap publicity and keep their people in line so they can keep doing what they always have been doing and make their children do what the parents want and not step out of line.

    My take on it.

    I think they got a valid point, playing on public minecraft servers can be pretty violent (as well vebally). So yea not really something for your 8 year old to get through. On the other side it is not something the government should get involved in, but instead the responsibility should be at the parents. But yea, even if they would brand it PG-16 it probably won't make any difference as you see on TF2.

    Yeah, I agree with Wandolf, is this what they're doing with the power they've been given?

    In fear of stepping on a hell'uva lot of toes here but I'm just gonna go right ahead and do that anyway;
    It's not like Turkey has a lot of backwards views and laws already
    In no specific order at all, China, Cuba, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Somalia, Colombia, Russia. Not even mentioning everyone, but I'm sure you could find a spot for Turkey in the list somewhere when it comes to rather, silly, laws and culture. I'm not surprised at all.
    Imagine when Minecraft becomes illegal in India because you kill cows in it. It's bound to happen.

    Can't imagine how you would step on toes with it while it is actually true. But every country has useless laws, even ours! I think this is just the government interfering with the education of a child which should be done by the pare ts. But I really think this can be a problem in the future in general. I see a lot of people around me using technology, taking it for granted but not knowing how it even works or why it or they do something wrong. However with slightly more interest for the changing world around you it gets way easier to understand things.
