Implemented Surf Advanced [Tier 1-4 ]

Today I'll be suggesting a little improvement for the ''ADVANCED'' surf server.

Literally and I mean literally, when there is a 3-4t map a couple of potatoes and low-ranks just rtv the hell out of the map and change it to a 1-2 tier. At this point I am thinking, what exactly is the point of an 'advanced 1-4' server when it's basically another 1-2 server, since it's simply impossible to overpower the low-ranks.
You cannot even imagine how many guys I see leaving the server because of this. It's simply better skill/learning wise to stay in the 1-3 server since it's more likely to play a t3 map on the 1-3 server rather then the 1-4 server. That in my opinion is hilarious. It's simply stupid.

My suggestion is to somehow limit the voting/rtving power of the lower ranks or make the server 3-4t.

I know it sounds harsh and even elitistic, however, at this point it's just another 1-2 server. I join the 1-4 server so I can train my skills on 3-4t maps and eventually get better, not to sit through hours of 1-2t maps and not improve in the slightest. If I wanted that I would've joined the 1-2 server, not the 1-4.

 

There is one limited server, if u feel u need higher tiers get to top 100 or donate. One server for better peoples is just enough.

 

I have stated my opinion on this matter numerous times and still think the "ADVANCED" server should be for I guess... people who can already finish tier1-2 maps and they move to the advanced server from the 1-2/1-3 Server to hone their skills on more difficult maps. Thus my suggestion was to make the advanced server tier 3-4, or even tier 2-4 Just something that spreads it apart from the other surf servers. As Exx0 has pointed out, it just feels like another beginner server.

I like the idea of a 3-4 server and MAYBE another 1-2 server since the 1-2 is pretty full always!

TOP100 / Donator is not accesable for everyone so the server is a neat idea.

 

@n0name has stated his opinion on this several times though. And the way I see it it wont happen anytime soon, we have had a 3 - 4 server before. Granted it was US, but it still did get close to zero traffic. If anything I think we will see another 1 - 2 since it's so popular

 

I understand your concerns. And business-like you are completely correct. However, for the sake of good gaming/surfing experience I think you should at least think about changing the votes need for RTV, because this is just stupid:

edit: I think I should clarify that we were 7 people on the server at that point.

 

The limit currently is 150p maybe increase it to 300 or 600.

So how about you convert the 1-4 server into a lower maxplayer limit 3-4 server and add another 1-2 server. Why? Because people that want to surf on a higher tier map have this server saved.
OR regarding a new game.me page, convert the old 1-4 to the new 1-2 server and make the new server a 3-4 without a game.me page.. People just have to refind the 3-4 then.
This of course should be public.

Is it going to be a server with a game.me page? (unlike 1-6 which kills my activity and forces me to be on the 1-2, 1-3 or 1-4 to have at least SOME playtime)
