What this guy said, the IDs are like 1000 apart from the first to the last trade.

Great. You would consider this guy a scammer, pfft. Main is banned on outpost and outpost only for scamming giftwrap, neither main or the account I traded were banned on backpack.tf until now. This was a single trade and the reason behind it was very legitimate. Surely to god there is leniency towards these type of trades. A giftwrap scammer, only banned on outpost, seriously?

 

You can't ban him for just one trade with a scammer.

A scammer is a scammer. IDC if they scammed a gift wrap or a godtier unusual.

 

You stated you traded with a person who was not tagged at the time of the trade.
Could you please post screenshots of the trade with this person.
Screenshots have to be uncropped (you may blank out your Steam login name) and have to be uploaded either on the forums or at Fortress of Gamers - File Hosting.

 

The guy had 1 trade on outpost he's an obvious as hell scammer alt!!!

 

It still doesn't meet SteamRep's criteria to mark him.

There are exceptions. Guess what? I've reported users and had them banned off one trade. I was cautioned when I committed 1 trade with a scammer under 7 buds or whatever. Those are the rules for users who do not know of steamrep. He knows what he's doing. Those rules have no application here given the value of the trade and the numerous offenses

Discussed this internally, because you'd been somewhat warned by OP in the past, and have various trades with obvious scammer alts and people with a large number of pending reports on SteamRep, we've decided to issue you with a permanent caution, should you trade with scammers again in the future, or someone banned for being a scammer alt on OP, or on SR your tag will be upgraded to a full ban.
