How to get e-mail notification working with Steam integration

Hello guys!

I would like to somehow enable e-mail notification of subscribed threads. I'm using Sing in with steam.

In my preferences there is no e-mail provided as to do so I would have to provide also my password which doesn't make sense in terms of steam integration.

Is it some bug that notifications are not working or should I do something differently?

Same steam login (openid) works flawlessly with steamrep mail notifications.

When you go to this link and scroll a bit down, you should be able to activate it.

If there ain't a password active, you should message noname since he is the only one who can change this.

There are no other options regarding e-mail notification on this page.

but on this page I need to edit password to update my e-mail (btw my e-mail field is empty).
Obviously I don't want to set password as I want to use steam OpenID login.

Are you saying that I should contanct noname to set it up?

I would be kind of weird that he has to setup up e-mail notifications manually for every user.

 

Bumping it as haven't got an answer and I'm about to start advertising FoG to CSGO community as a place to go for scam reports.

Without out of the box e-mail notification it will be really hard to get people to update their reports when they fill those.

 

Tested it on my alt. Worked like a charm!

So, I'll manually fix this for my main account.
