That's a poor excuse Spartan, go and take some of them reports and deal with them like you are supposed to, just because he's active doesn't mean he should take all the reports 24/7.

 

Curry don't even start that. It is his job when he is the active admin to maintain the reports when the other admins are unavailable.

Guys stop arguing. Thing is there is a warning system. While I'm sure @DarkRegen might hope to get his powers stripped at most he would get a warning. While he does seem to be abusing his powers in some ways, instead of just removing his powers actually be decent and give him a second chance, tell him that slaying/freezing everyone is bad and that he shouldn't gag someone for saying fuck to him. The rules state that mild swearing is allowed and 'fuck' isn't that bad a word.

Secondly: Forum activity isn't as necessary as you say it is. Jaffa responded in a decent time to this report and while he does not make posts he does keep an eye on the forums every day or two, I'd prefer that to him shitposting to make him look like he's on the forums all day.

Thirdly: @Curry Pyro you're clearly trying to stir up some shit. Just cause dark said some stupid things in the past doesn't make this report any less valid, also this report isn't about @Spartan or any other JB admin so if you also think they should be pulling there weight, don't post it in a report about Jaffa as this has nothing to do with them in all honesty.

 

I have said I'm not trying to start shit but oh well, problem with all you lot is that you think every argument is a shit storm, until you get that through your heads, then you'll assume every argument is someone trying to stir shit up.

I have to post here as well. All of this happened on jailbreak server (as I don't visit any other).

1) We were having 'cell wars', I killed Jaffa and he slayed me, sending simple "NO" message to server chat. No respawn. Here is link to demo, it's set to skip to the round when this happened: ExpireBox

2) I don't have any video-proof for this, but once again when we were doing 'hunger games', I've killed Jaffa and he kept respawning himself until he's finally killed me.

 

I will like to add that Taco said to Jaffa that he should check the forums, jaffa would most likely not have noticed this if Taco didnt tell him to look at the forums.

 

I have read these comments and would like to say that, I will think about how I use my commands and act accordingly.

 

I agree with this. just because Jaffa is online or ingame doesn't mean he has to accept the reports. Most of time, I am online, but I can't accept or investigate the reports because I am in school. And, what is the point of accepting reports when you're already on the server? Also, this is turning into a SS really quickly, please, let's cool it down.

After a long read, here's what I'm seeing.
I won't mention the unnecessary bickering between the forum members by the way.

Spartan has evidently proven that Jaffa has been abusing.
Jaku's witness account gives further support.
It is most likely true that this has been going on for a while so I believe a warning is in place for him.

The slacking in the reports should not be ignored either; if an admin never takes on any reports it shows little responsibility. To my understanding, Jaffa is an "active" admin which makes it only more questionable as to why he's blatantly ignoring them. That's another point Spartan has proven.

While it's good that you will think about using your commands in the future Jaffa, it is a little too late to be saying that if you were hoping it would save you from a punishment that you deserve based on your actions.
It's not the entire world either; there are three stages of the system:
1. You get a warning. Simple as that.
2. The second warning comes with a temporary admin position removal.
3. The third time you're fired.

In conclusion: Abuse report's claim has been proven to be true; Jaffa deserves a warning.
Do not speak about Darkregen or Curry or frankly anyone else; this is not about them.

 

Whilst I agree entirely, there's a bit more abuse than a warning is gonna solve there man, I'd say temporary stripping of rights if possible - this whole thing has been quite under-the-radar.
