I use a Turtle Beach PX21 headset, never had a single issue with it. Likewise, I've always used Turtle Beach headsets and I've never had a problem with them that wasn't through my own fault.

With my experience (and my husband's), Razer can be unreliable and overpriced for what you get out of them. For superior sound quality, you may want to invest in a decent digital headset that will prove more cost-effective.

If you want good sound quality go for a headset with a (digital) amplifier. I use a Triton 720+

Eh, I use 720 Tritons - these are literally the best headset I've ever owned (and I've gone through so many pairs its unbelievable).

Most of my friends have Turtlebeaches, they're good but I feel like they're hella' over-rated and tend to break pretty easily - that's just imo, I've never owned a pair myself.

    EDIT:

PISS OFF CP THATS MY LINE.

Yeah I got Razer Kraken Pro too and prefer it instead of Blackhawk.
Blackhawk isn't worth as the the price tells it so meh.
Have to agree with Ninja with this :)
But ofc this is only my opinion,
buy what you think is the best :)
