As an admin, your supposed to treat EVERYONE alike, but Hiss doesn't seem to, as stated, meaning it's not exactly a fair game now is it, Hiss is basically discriminating all F2P and for what? not buying TF2...

 

Whatever I do is not your buisness don't you think? Hiss is doing his job, he might punish people harder then others and beein more strict overall,but is it for you to decide if he is a "bully"?

You see many actions can be seen as bullying, you just have a different attitude towards people who are F2P. But since poeple don' t accept other opinions I will stay out of this thread.

Regarding public hate..I really do not endorse uttering things I dislike myself, but "f2p" is a term to describe a general group. It is common to see people blurt out stuff they hate seeing as it is a normal way to vent out. Are we to forbid people to vent out a little frustration or anger for something that's possibly considered trivial? Again, I don't support it myself..but we're not some kind of mother who's telling him what he can't do here.

For short; the rules do indeed say that no flaming/insulting is allowed.
But Sir Hiss didn't make a personal attack against a single individual.
I am not saying that it's a great thing to do, but if anyone was unhappy with his talk they will report it.

There's one reason I can think of why half of the banned people are F2P: people too stubborn or people refusing to follow (or even understand) the rules.
And some of the 'airblasters' probably do it with the intention of bothering Sir Hiss or others. I don't know about you but if I knew someone had the 'intention of griefing in any shape or form I would punish them as well.

I will agree with Under the Dash: Nobody of us is any better if we were to hate Sir Hiss for how he chooses to do his job. Yes, we may argue he's harsher. But he's still doing his job. I'm believing that he can with a little advice he can adjust his ways, but that is for him to decide.
Is anyone going to mention that some of the players even believe Sir Hiss to be the best admin there is? He's being framed too much as a devil if anything lately.
A warning is fair to give.

Jozzeh first off: it doesnt matter if he's insulting a group of people or an individual. He's still insulting people.
Also the point is people have reported Hiss. (2 in the past couple of days). I don't believe he should be fired but I do believe he deserves a warning. Anyways again it's up for n0:name to decide and we should wait to see his verdict.

I mean, unless he's been fined for another ticket.

 

Temporary loss of admin abilities comes on the second warning.

Looking down at F2Ps is pretty silly actually - like Maone said they maybe just don't want to waste money on a game. They might think it's fun to play but money's more important in real life.
I too, read the reports directed at Sir Hiss. And two reports in such a short amount of time? That's not too good.

The kick about Strange weapons was fair, but ubased bans are just low.
I did read a bit of Hiss' chatlog as well and sometimes I got why you linked it, Sam.
I don't think I would want to rejoin this server if I were an F2P.

I'll just agree with the guys who voted for warning.
