until you're a blackbox soldier and scouts steal your ammo every time... it will cease to be fun, I have been there many times

 

You should always save atleast two rockets for rocket-jump. Else there is the ultimatum. Melee, find some stairs and do melee there. You got better chances to not die on stairs in melee, if you know how to.

 

You should still give it a try, if you don't like, don't play there. =)

 

that is certainly true but still the fact remains as soldier one of the slowest classes your ammo will be stolen 85% of the time
Also there is a thing called lag compensation that screws over anyone under the 25 ping in melee combat against someone with higher ping than you.

 

I never had any problems doing melee fights, even with 50ms differences.

Screw it sure, as horrific looking the models are and how alot of the people are outright cringeworthy, turning our severs into another version the weeaboo otaku or brony sex rp under the name of a Slender server (But without the slenderman), will probably work out well.

Alright.

I might not be one against the colorful equines, but to be honest, even I don't want to see it all of the time. There's no fun in eating my favorite pizza everyday; it eventually loses that 'tasty' taste to it, and you lose something to look forward to.
The suggestion itself is a genuine suggestion to bring in more people, no matter the numbers. It'd go to show that the FoG community "welcomes bronies with open arms". It really does. You don't see a pony hating community open any kind of server related to them, do you?

On the other hand, the sad fact that people love bashing bronies for reasons like they are homosexuals, nolives, and whatnot, means that it'd run risk of creating some more hateful spit around our social vicinity. Personally, this doesn't bother me because unlike people who haven't learned the skill IGNORE in favour to their other 4 moves, but it still is a pretty bothersome sight seeing silly arguments where each side is trying to prove the other wrong.

In a nutshell:
+Possible increase of playerbase
+Can give a good reputation, showing we welcome a community
-Can work the other way around as well
-Can ignite useless flamewars

You all recognise me for liking ponies. While it's true, I don't really like saying the phrase "I'm a brony".
Because honestly, every community has black sheep which makes the rest of the herd look bad. And the MLP fandom isn't an exception.

So what do I say?

TL;DR

As long as the flames can be contained, I support the idea.

 

I don't really have a problem with a Pony VSH/FF2.. as long as the creepy shit stays there and they're well-behaved (like everyone else).

And for the record, I don't like Bronies - I just tolerate them.
