Rejected Banned for no reason?

You know Krupp he'll try anything to satisfy his lust for starting pointless arguments, it's just a harmless joke that Krupp got upset about, no big deal.

 

Looks hyronical, said from you. How can you say he got offended? He maybe and I say MAYBE just pointed out the fact that we're trying to get a solution for this poor dude and it's not quite the time for jokes like that. The Shoutbox is there for a reason.

 

How can you say he didn't get offended? Krupp get's offended at the slightest thing, it was one joke, and everyone shitposts on every forum so no one can blame Maone for making one joke, jeez, and yes we'll get a solution for these guy's, somehow.

 

If you read what Krupp said, you can find the solution. At least I will go to sleep laughing. I ain't trying to offend him, it's the truth, and you know it, he does get offended at anything you might say to him, and yes Krupp did find the solution for it, but Krupp called out Maone for one joke, and if Krupp wanted to single anyone else out he'd have to do it to all of FoG, not just one person, so you can't blame Maone. gg

Personally, the whole dupe account can become a problem because it permabans the 'other' account. Then, if the main account's ban is expired, it'll get permabanned again for "Duplicate account". Sometimes, this is a good thing, but with families playing on the same server, it's a problem. VPN is an option, but everyone should be unbanned first. Then, maybe, make an exception in the plugin for this IP.

Also, about the plugin in general, does it have to be a permaban or is it possible to ban the duplicate account (or just IP) for the same amount of time, so when the ban is over, everyone can play again.

 

Where in my first posts did I say she was trying to start a flame war? I only told her this thread is not about her sister, me, my [lack of] humor or my beliefs - which is the truth.

First of all, that might have been true 6 months ago, but I actually do have changed since then. I know you can't see it or would admit it, but that's the ultimate truth today. And maybe you're aware of this little phenomenom on the internet when everything you try to express is in text, it can be difficult for everyone from time to time to interpret what someone's trying to say. If that wasn't true there would never be any misunderstandings on the internet. And you're wrong, I'm not upset about it, I just think it's a bit sad that you guys never can get off my back.

How would you know? You joined in august, a month after I left. You, who were so picky about the truth in another thread, are trying to say something about the truth when all you've got is rumors from someone else. Well good luck with that. And even if it's true that "everyone" shitposts on every forum, it doesn't make it more right to do so here. It looks like I have learned more about the past than anyone else around here.

And again you're using the word "truth" as you would even know the truth about that. So just because I told someone to stay on topic my solution is not worth anyone's time? I didn't do anything to Maone but to stay on topic. It was no offense, insult or flame. You guys on the other hand started to flame, insult and try to offend me and my beliefs. That actually tells a lot more about you than it does about me. This thread also clearly shows who's living in the past and who's not able to change. And I'm not saying any of this to fight with you guys, I just don't think you should blame me for your shitstorm.

So to sum this up; I only tried to help these guys with this issue. I'm the only one who even tried to come up with a solution, since Maone's post apparently was a joke. A VPN is a good solution on this issue, but you don't have to thank me (nor do I even in my wildest dreams expect anyone here to do that either). n0name could change the plugin as well, as Bunnie Lord mentioned.

How does the VPN thing work? I am studying computer science ATM, but ive only done it for like 2-3 months and all we've done so far is learning the components of a computer...

 

It's actually quite simple. You set up a network, using the VPN (a tunnel) to hide your regular external IP and get a different one. The link I provided is from a open source application, which is free. You can more or less say the VPN is made to protect yourself on the internet since your external IP is hidden for everyone.
