    Hello,
first of all, my name is NayNes and I got banned today for 'Aimbot' from Applejack.

I don´t really know how he got the idea of it, i mean, about 10-5 min before I got the ban he spectated me because he thought I´d use some hack where I have 100% on the sniper all the time. But that is solely a spectate bug, as some other VIP member pointed out (and I seaerched the web for some footage to that: Other Forum Video in which you can see that it´s not moving), aside from it being impossible to hack (and a LOT too obvious), I think and he left it then, or at least I thought that. Oh and at that time noone mentioned an aimbot or something. In fact I have been playing on this server now for a while (and like 75% as sniper) and NEVER did someone think I would hack.
So what my point is, that I would ask that Applejack if he made some video that proofs it, because I really would like to see how he got the idea of it.

Ok, last thing from me: I hope you can remove the ban because I really like the server, but that´s what they all say, I guess ;)

    Thanks

    Was there.
Was no aimbot for sure. Unbanned you.
    Downy can confirm.

This is completely ass-shuffled. First of all, I don't recall you spectated him at all, so how could you possibly tell what kind of hack it could've been?
Secondly, aimbot has been re-designed a couple of times over the years, and you can easily tweak how sensitive it will be while playing. Aimbot doesn't automatically mean you are aiming at the head. Have you seen a heavy guy with aimbot sometime? The bullets hit in a very narrow pattern in the middle of the body, clearly shows there are variants of aimbot. And last, how much experience do you or Downy have from sniping? I honestly think both Applejack and me has a shitload of more experience than you guys have regarding that. We would see much easier if it's normal behavior from a sniper than you. Both Apple and me have our doubts about this guy, both of us were playing as snipers and both were spectating him (not at the same time, duh).

It might be some kind of technical issue somewhere regarding the aiming part. It doesn't necessarily have to be aimbot. However, how do you explain a sniper playing with stock rifle who instantly kill another sniper with a scoped bodyshot, directly after scoping? That's impossible. Go pick up a stock sniper rifle and try for yourself. He did that every time he shot someone. What do you call that, lag? It takes a few seconds to load the rifle enough to kill another sniper with a bodyshot. If there were seconds of lag on that server, our pings should be 1000 and raising. That was not the case. My point: it may not be aimbot, but it's damn too strange for being considered 'normal behavior', and it's not because of the game itself.

It´s quite simple, I don´t. Next time I would very appreciate it if you or someone other could make a video showing it, because that´s, like you said, impossible (unless the other sniper is damaged).
If you spectated me some time you should have seen that I (almost) always let my rifle charge to 100% before going around that corner to snipe the other guys. If I don´t, then because I shot someone before and now I know he has only some life left, so I finish him.
Oh and to that ridiculous accusation of me using aimbot: IF someone uses an aimbot you most likely will see it while spectating because there will be sudden (over the reaction of a human being) movement to the enemy (as sniper an aimbotter would most likely choose the head as target, wouldn´t he?) and if the shot would fail (I am sure also aimbots miss from time to time) the crosshair would be locked to the enemy´s head. So tell me, did any of this occur while you spectated me?

So practically you suspect me of having a hack that 'hacks' the sniper rifle´s charge to always have 100%? Show me sucha hack, please.

Read my text again, you have the answers there.

Edit: You can find good information about different hacks here: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/426-team-fortress-2-hacks/

krupp unless you can provide some sort of proof, you have absolutely no say in the matter, please do not jump into arguments that do not involve you. Fat chance of that happening, but I'll say it anyway.

    Still, show me one.

Seriously? That´s your answer? Well done, sir.
No matter how sensitive you tweak your aimbot to be, it will always be visible if you know what to look for.
And what do you say to my sniping technique, I mean that practically explains why my bodyshots kill, huh?
But, well, OF COURSE I use a hack that gets my rifle to 100% instantly and OF COURSE it´s not way too obvious...

Oh and to your proof I´ve got to say... wait I completely forgot that you don´t have any proof.

right, let's make this clear. Are you being accused of hacking? No, you're not. Are you the admin who banned the party accused of hacking? No, you're not. So I'm struggling to see where you fit into this equation.

And now let's make it clear when and why we ban people. We do it WHEN WE HAVE PROOF OF THE HACKING. Show me the proof of him hacking, and I'll back you wholeheartedly in the matter, but you haven't provided ANY evidence that he's a hacker. "I'm involved in this and I say he's a hacker because I'm krupp" is not a valid banning reason. The only person who can back up this ban is Applejack, who hasn't arrived yet. Innocent until proven guilty. Why else does SteamRep need so much info to declare someone a scammer?

First of all, the original text I wrote was directed to Downie. I thought (and still think) his response to this is bullcrap.
And you are completely right, I don't have any evidence and I have never claimed to have any either. All I did was to protest his arguments, because they are not good enough in my opinion. Your attitude won't change my opinion regarding that either. Please show me where I said you actually are cheating? I said it's not normal behavior and it's not caused by the game itself. It could be other stuff, I never said it was hacks. Downie didn't spectate you, so how can he be so sure about you're not using aimbot? That was my protest. It's his words against another admin, and an ex-admin (me). We spectated you and found strange things about you. Applejack judge it to be aimbot, not me. He banned you.

His arguments are not good enough? His argument doesn't need to be good, all it needs is to show that you don't have enough backing to enforce this ban. Also your status as an ex-admin doesn't hold any weight as you are, indeed, an ex-admin.

Alright, show me on the forums where it says the ban appeals are only judged by admins. Go ahead, I'm waiting.

downie damn sure has more of a casting vote than a troublemaker ex-admin who was previously banned himself.

Well, what else causes 'not normal behavior', if it´s not the game?

I know it was him, I already (politely) asked if he has any proof and I am patiently waiting for him ;)

If I´ve offended you somehow, that wasn´t my intention :)
