Trading with marked/obvious scammers ​

Why do you think you should be unbanned?

It was my second time trading unknowingly with scammers.

The first user I traded with was not marked at the time I traded with him, I did not check SteamRep however on backpack.tf it said his SteamRep profile was clean.

Second time I traded with a scammer who I checked the profile as, and since he had over a thousand hours in TF2, and a decent amount in csgo. If you want proof of that then look here: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198091866498

I believe he has put his profile on private at one point, but at this time his profile is public and does not look like a scammer to me.

First time was around christmas 2014, and the second time was in late March/early April. There is 4 months between both trades, meaning I don't trade with scammers very often. I have not traded with any scammers since my ban either.

I don't think I should be labelled with a "caution" tag, sine I believe I am a reputable user. I have just over 100 suggestions on backpack.tf (Zcrab's Profile - backpack.tf), and I have trust for trading with PP safely (Zcrab's Trust - backpack.tf). I am also a regular on the backpack.tf forums for 2 years (http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/user/5300-zcrab/).

The only reason why I traded with scammers is because of laziness, and deciding if a user is a scammer or not by looking at their steam profile or backpack.tf profile. I do not believe other users should have caution trading with me, since I am not dangerous to trade with.

Of course if you do unban me I will improve on this, and not make the same mistakes again., and since after my ban scripts have been made that will make checking any users steamrep from trade offers much easier. That will of course help me greatly. ​

 

Hello @Zcrab , your appeal has been Granted, for the following reasons:
- Time already served for this offence;
- Lack of any other reports against you;

Make sure you check SteamRep before making a trade. Sometimes people get Trade banned from valve because they bought several items that were bought with a stolen credit cards etc... Also by trading with them you are allowing them to make profit from stolen goods and I'm sure you understand that's not a good attitude or habit to have.
