    What happened?
    The guy added me to buy items from me for keys. We settled on a price and he started the usual middleman injection shtick:

    For some reason he insisted on using a trusted friend that I know in real life. When I named someone, an accomplice impersonating the friend I just named joined our group chat. He copied nickname and profile image of my friend and has also been on the original scammer's friend list for as long as Steamrep's records go back.
