What was your in-game name when you got banned?

When did it happen?

I was banned today (2-27-2015) but the event that caused it happened months ago. ​

What's the specified reason?

i was banned for brokering for a marked user ​

Why do you think you should be unbanned?

first i'll address the "alts" (chody scanck, and evan Flaubert) they are literally just irl friends that your ip system found because they visit my house occasionally and use steam. i don't believe i had ever traded either of them anything besides unique quality weapons. in fact Evan stopped logging on a week or so after i added him, losing interest, and Cody just plays g mod and rarely anything else. now in regards to the ban, a few months ago i had a small brokering service for friends when a user's alt added me. (of course i didn't know it was an alt) and hired me for a job. (you know him as either apple_nut or download_ram i believe) and initially he had yet to be marked. while in the process of selling his hat i assume he had been marked, and due to me saying i was brokering in my trade, people made connections and i was promptly banned from op. in regards to ppm, that is a different and in my opinion ridiculous matter. i was just sitting in the server one day when i was banned for trading with a scammer. why. in that day, i had traded with 2 users. i had obtained a pool party taunt, and my miami pyromancer's mask. upon checking history none of the guys i had bought from none of them where even scammers. so upon appealing the guy was reasonable and agreed on most parts, but on further inspection he had noticed the op ban, and made an offer, if i clear up the op ban, i could check back and that however, was not gonna happen seeing as i had already appealed. it would be terrible if i let this ruin nearly 3 years of team fortress 2 for me, AND a friends active account. ​

 

Well it's getting to that point, it has been over a month with no reply. does anyone have any thoughts on this? has an admin seen this?

ok, i'm pretty sure i did that correctly, i did leave out one or two items that i gave back in the end and didn't sell, if you have any further questions, or want anything else please tell me.

You uploaded them, thats the first step.

It is an image hosting site; like imgur, it creates a unique URL that you can use to share.

This is how you do it.

1) Open Fortress of Gamers - File Hosting

2) Upload your files (You mention that you posted them to the link that no:name gave you; therefore i will not go over how to do this)

3) Upon upload, you should be presented with a screen like this: Imgur

4) Right-Click and "Copy" the URL Imgur

5) Right-Click and "Paste" the Copied URL to this thread Imgur

6) Click submit!

these are the people in the above screenies who where involved with the incident. if you ment literally everyone in the screenshot, i can get them too, but i'm pretty sure they are clean.

It is important to note if you haven't been following that the accounts that i've linked are most likely apple's alts. (just to be clear)

 

Will reduce this to a permanent caution for now, reappeal in 6 months and we'll review your case.
