    Description:
So about a day ago I traded 19 keys for a copy of Dark Souls II, only for today to be greeted with a message saying I've had my purchase revoked. The seller contacted me via TF2 Outpost asking for 30 keys in exchange for both Dark Souls II and the Season Pass, I declined the Season Pass and he offered the game in exchange for 19 keys, reasonable enough so I accepted his proposition and we traded. (Obviously as shown above) and about a day later I got a message from Steam Support detailing that the game was revoked, other people also seem to be having the same problem (As shown by the image) where their copies of Dark Souls II was revoked.

I also have a image showing a possible ALT account where the perpetrator may originate from, if you'll note in the Support message it states Steam User "Zombie" gifted me the game. I tracked a Steam User by the name on the persons friends list and it came up with one person (The account shown in the image) Considering this account's only friend is the person I purchased the copy from it may not be mere coincidence that the person is named Zombie, as was the person who I supposedly received the gift from.

I've sent a ticket in about it and mentioned in it that 'In accordance with the Steam Trading Policy I would like you to return to me 19 keys' so hopefully about in a week or so they'll refund it.

I want to know how this is even possible.
From the looks of it, you got the game through a trade.

How could it had been revoked?

Why would we forward it to SOP? I can also forward them to SteamRep and did it awhile ago which is why n0:name hasn't.

No idea how it was revoked, I've only heard of games being revoked when they were sent to somebody outside of the trade window.

That guy was probably Russian. Now I don't know if you're aware of this, but games in Russia are ALOT cheaper than in Europe or America. So Steam basically decides to revoke Russian games from non-russian areas.

I understand the concept, however those games from my experience, have a message saying that it's region locked, I also know that when you fraudulently purchase a gift, steam will revoke it. However those ones are normally untradeable.

Mostly probably because some people care about the SOP rep too.

I don't think you understand how it works ;D If you get banned on SteamRep, noone cares about your SOP rep at that point because you get banned from sites like outpost, and a ton of servers.

If you want any more info about what we do with scam reports etc. feel free to PM me as this isn't the place to discuss this.
