so this morning i played tf2 before i went to school, and i said something to a blu and that blu became warden and teamkilled me. i reported him and i had to go to school. when i came back i was banned. because i werent there.

You failed to explain why you reported him, (it just said reason : we are never gonna loose) or something,i can remember that from the reporter. When i joined, i asked you, and then you just left instantly so i banned you for a week because at that moment i had something important to do but saw the report so thought it's needed to come because of the weird reason,and yeah well - great job you wasted my time hunter. I hope this is a lesson for you... Edit 1 : 1) Use the template,as others stated. 2) We don't handle non perm bans. 3) You can see the reason Fortress of Gamers - Sourcebans Here aswell.

The admin work may not, or should not be rushed. So maybe if you got something important to do and have no time to fully get into it, i'll advice you not to handle the report. There are other JB admins which would see it sooner or later. So IMO you gave him a 1 week ban cuz you were mad for wasting your time. He did waste your time but still could be at least 1-2 days, idk why people like the 1 week so much. Please don't take this personal and i'm not judging your work just saying ....HQGroup....
No i did not take it personal,it was his second time abusing the report system without the offending party actually breaking a rule, and thus is a report abuse in my opinion,reporting people that did nothing wrong is not the way it should be used.
Eh donald I'm pretty sure we dont ban people for misusing the report system, especially seeing as he doesnt seem to have done it before. At most you should have warned him.
Pretty sure we do,and i warned him when he first abused the report system when i did not ban him,because it was the first time,this is the second time.
Gentlemen, may I remind you of the case with Mr. Lindskog? Since this occasion, misuse of the report system is indeed a bannable offense. We can't have people making false reports and waste our time, can we? I would therefore conclude this report to be invalid given that it is temporary.
It was and always will be a bannable offense to abuse the report system. It's there to report rulebreakers and not to waste an admin's time by doing "joke"-reports. At the very beginning, I even permabanned people who abused it, so he should be happy to only be banned for a Week. Anyways, the Appeal is Invalid (as we only handle permabans) and therefore is now Locked.
